Myanmar delegation joins 2023 ASEAN-China Greater Bay Area (Qianhai) Economic Cooperation Forum

   At the invitation of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), a Myanmar delegation led by the Deputy Minister for Commerce, U Nyunt Aung attended the 2023 ASEAN-China Greater Bay Area (Qianhai) Economic Cooperation Forum in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province of China.

   The opening ceremony of the forum was held on the morning of 29^th July and the Deputy Minister delivered a speech, along with leaders and representatives from China and ASEAN countries, focusing on the science and technological cooperation programme in the industry. The Deputy Minister highlighted the active cooperation of ASEAN member countries in the upgrading of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong- Macao Greater Bay Area.

   The Myanmar delegation, led by Deputy Minister U Nyunt Aung, arrived back at Yangon International Airport on 30^th July 2023.
