Director General of the Intellectual Property Department participated in the Webinar on the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) Trademark Caravan 2023 Focus to Spotlight on Myanmar

   The webinar on the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) Trademark Caravan 2023 Focus to Spotlight on Myanmar was held in virtual format on 25 September, 2023 and keynote speech was delivered by the Director General of the Intellectual Property Department.

   The webinar aimed to let the members of APAA know about the existing new development in the Trademark Law as well as how to enforce trademark rights in Myanmar.

   In the webinar, Dr. Moe Moe Thwe, Director General from the Intellectual Property Department and responsible persons from Myanmar Custom Department and Law Firms in Myanmar discussed the status on the IP history of Myanmar, Registration system, Trademark Examination and enforcement under Trademark Law and the webinar was attended by a total number of ninety-seven participants.
