When the businessmen encounter in trade difficulties, bilateral trade relations division will assist to resolve issues through diplomatic channels and providing input and discussion in meetings held between the two countries.
The Memorandum of Understanding on rice trade between Myanmar and Bangladesh was signed in September, 2022. This MoU will be valid for (5) years and it has agreed to export (250,000) metric tons of Myanmar White Rice and 50,000 metric tons of all kinds of Myanmar Parboiled Rice annually.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Trade of Urad and Tur between Myanmar and India was signed in June,2021. According to this MOU, (250,000) metric tons of Urad and (100,000) metric tons of Tur will be exported from Myanmar to India through private trade, over the next five financial years.
