The Supervisory Committee on Import, Storage and Distribution of Edible Oil under the Ministry of Commerce has been closely observing the FOB prices in Malaysia and Indonesia including transportation cost, tariff and banking service charges, and issuing the wholesale market reference rate for edible oil on weekly basis.

U Aung Naing Oo, the Union Minister for Commerce, was invited by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) to attend the BIMSTEC Business Conclave as the guest of honour. The event took place at the the Hyatt Regency Kolakata Hotel in Kolakata, Republic of India. At the Meeting, the Union Minister talked about the trade and investment conditions between Myanmar and BIMSTEC member countries, highlighting the potential for further development.

The BIMSTEC Agriculture and Food Forum took place in Ballroom one at the Hyatt Regency Kolakata Hotel from 9:45 am to 12:00 pm local time in India. Dr. Myo Lwin, Vice- Chairman of the Myanmar Beans, Maize, and Sesame Traders Association, and Economist Dr. Zaw Oo, the Executive Director of the Economic and Social Development Centre, were panelists in the discussion.

အိန္ဒိယသမ္မတနိုင်ငံ၊ ကော်လ်ကတ္တားမြို့၌ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်နေသည့် BIMSTEC Business Conclave တွင် ဂုဏ်ထူးဆောင်ဧည့်သည် တော်အဖြစ် တက်ရောက်နေသည့် စီးပွားရေးနှင့်ကူးသန်းရောင်းဝယ်ရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဦးအောင်နိုင်ဦးသည် ဒေသစံတော်ချိန် ၁၂:၃၀ နာရီ မှ ၁၄:၀၀ နာရီအထိ Hytta Regency Kolkata Hotel၊ Ballroom ခန်းမ (၁)တွင် ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သည့် ဘင်းမ်စတက်စီးပွားရေးပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု Valedictory Session (ပိတ်ပွဲအခမ်းအနား) သို့ တက်ရောက်၍ ဂုဏ်ထူးဆောင် ဧည့်သည်တော်အဖြစ် တက်ရောက်အမှာစကားပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။
